Sometimes we realize how important something is only when we lose that thing. Take Love as an example. We tend to belittle good things and do not cultivate that thing through repeated action. For example, the smile on the face of a mother who has just given birth and is cradling the baby in her arms. Or, the smile of a lover when his/her partner gives him/her something that he/she has longed for. The hugs of two long lost friends. The grateful prayer of a beggar who receives the alms of a believer with a kind and loving face. Wouldn’t we be so happy to witness the above and other behavior that reflects the presence of love. But what do we read daily in the newspapers and magazines, watch on television, movies, the soap operas and other media lately?. Man preying on other man not caring if they are their own flesh and blood.

Has our world reached the end of times? Have we stooped so low even beneath that of animals? What is reported are only hatred, violence against fellowmen. Violence even occurs among the faithful. Mass hysteria becomes the norm. Like a pack of wolves with only a single purpose. To devour what it considers the enemy/prey. Now man tortures his own brother. They feel “happy” or should we say more accurately a passionate sensation when they see blood spilled from the bodies of their “enemies”. They do not even know them but the pack or horde has been overcome by only one emotion/desire. Kill, kill, kill. Animals have been programmed to prey for survival. Animals do not have a choice. But animals do not target their own species. While humans are given reason and the freedom to choose. What makes it worse is that humans choose not to use reason, what more his heart. GOD forbids!!!

What is more horrifying from among the so many barbaric behavior of humans is when parents torture their own babies to death. They are helpless creatures. And also married couples who said that they love each other but in a moment of rage express their satanic emotions and eliminate their partners from the face of the earth.

What is happening with the human race? Punishment will certainly befall them but they have changed into thoughtless creatures. They don’t think anymore. They are easily incited, provoked by the devil’s agents dressed in human garb. And that is just the physical aspect. We haven’t even discussed psychological violence. Even in the business world, with the justification that what they are doing is right, big capitalists ‘mistreat’ other businessmen who are not as smart in cheating. Worse are when workers forced to work long hours and overburdened just like the times when pharaohs forced the slaves to build the pyramids, their last palace before leaving this fleeting world. Salaries and wages do not suffice but they are coerced to work overtime without overtime pay. All because of the money god. Profit is always used as a raison d’etre. Welfare is never thought of. Even by those business people who profess to practice a religion. The world is upside down now!!!!

The right thing is considered wrong and the wrong thing is taken to be right. Leaders who should be protecting and guide the people have become oppressors using the excuse that our country is a country of the law. Justice is non-existent or at least we see that justice or just people have become a minority. As if laws are right. No wonder there are uprisings everywhere. There is no more love in this world. Even love is used as a reason to torture oneself and others.

This happened because we are under the spell of materialism. The Philosophy of the Material World is everywhere. Greed is valued highly. If caught because of outright corruption then he can be punished but human punishment can be negotiated with money. A businessman’s ruthlessness when committed in disguise is even more dangerous because the big as well as the small businessmen consider this criminal act as the norm. To the point that stealing by the small businessmen has become a way of life. But when the small and weak get caught, they are judged and punished by the strong, be it individually or collectively. To survive, according to the small, can only happen if they also participates. It is a dog eat dog world.

Love has lost its meaning. What remans is only temporary physical pleasure. Hedonism has become a lifestyle of those above and those below ………. yes, what else can they do, they also play the game. It is just that they get punished heavier by those humans above.

Be Conscious and Beware. In the end, you will all be liquidated through the hands of the Almighty. It is better to have loved and lost than not to have loved at all. These are words of wisdom which need a little modification. If you love you will not lose or be at a lost. On the other hand by giving love you will one day receive love in return manifold.

Show your love even in small portions and you will receive love in return many times more. If we have faith dan show our love to our fellowmen even a bit, we will receive multiple rewards. That is Love. Love is doing anything to make the other happy.
